More and more Zetor tractors are turning up on Canadian farms as the Czech tractor manufacturer grows its North American footprint.
The Zetor brand traces it roots back to 1946 when the Czechoslovak company produced its first tractor. Over the past 70 years, Zetor has built a reputation for performance and endurance at an economical price. The company has now exported more than 1.3 million tractors to more than 90 countries.
Last month at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Kentucky, we caught up with business development manager Darrell Richardson to take a closer look at Zetor’s premium Proxima tractors, the company’s most popular model. In this video, Richardson notes that the Proxima HS — available in 105, 115 and 125 HP — comes with hydraulically controlled power shuttle, power shift and PTO clutch. He adds that the all-mechanical tractor is thoroughly engineered using up-to-date technology in every aspect, while emphasizing the highest possible reliability and very easy and inexpensive servicing.
